It's official; watch out San Jose!

As of yesterday, I officially have a placement at a school in San Jose! I have been anxiously waiting for this news for a few weeks now. I am such a planner and it has been killing me not knowing where I would be. Now I know, and it is starting to really hit me now. It is finally starting to feel real!

I will be at Lincoln School in a 6th grade classroom! With this placement, the living accommodations will be a home-stay. This means I will be living with a local family. From what I understand so far, I will not know exactly who I will be living with until I am at their door. I have also been told that they usually don't speak English. Well I don't really speak Spanish, so I am sure watching us try to communicate will be quite hilarious. This will be a very challenging but awesome learning experience!

After a meeting and training session next week, I will be able to go ahead and buy my plane ticket! Please continue to prayerfully consider financially supporting me for this experience.
